Carol Hayward, Lou Marini, Lou Marini Jr., Bruce Moss

Louis Eugene Marini, of Arapahoe, N.C., passed away on May 21, 2008. He was a member of the faculty for 15 years, where in addition to teaching woodwinds, arranging and conducting the jazz band, he wrote over 180 arrangements for the Falcon Marching Band. In 2003, BGSU named an Outstanding Professor in honor of his many contributions. He was also awarded the National Jazz Educators Award in 1977. Survived by his daughter and two sons, he will be remembered for his passion for teaching, and the great legacy he left in the lives of his students.
