Robert Glenn Ketchum, Conservation and Photography: a Long Evolving History
Internationally honored artist, environmental activist, writer and lecturer Robert Glenn Ketchum is at the forefront of environmental issues critiquing the management of Alaska’s fisheries, pro-development legislature, and fighting advancement of industrial oil.
In this exhibition, artist-activists create awareness and generate action on important water issues, featuring Southwest Alaska: A World of National Parks and Wildlife Refuges, photography by Robert Glenn Ketchum; major water project documentations by Jackie Brookner and Betsy Damon; Fluid Geographies, an installation by Eve Andree Laramee; Water Piece by Stacy Levy and Waterborne Dis/ease and Non-Potable Agua by Basia Irland.
Works by Chen Yi, Michael Albaugh, W. Claude Baker, John Mackey, John Stevens and Bright Sheng, performed by the Bowling Green Philharmonia and Wind Symphony.
