Where are Reserves located?
Main Reserve is on the Jerome Library first floor, at the main circulation desk.
Ask at the main circulation desk, Firelands, or Music Libraries or the Curriculum Resource Center for their Reserve material.
What do I need to check out Reserve materials?
- To borrow, we require your BGSU photo ID or Courtesy Card and photo ID.
- Come with the call number for the item or ask for assistance from the staff.
- Items on Reserve for a class can be found by choosing "Reserves by Course" or "Reserves by Instructor" on the main page of the BGSU Libraries Catalog.
- The location and call number will display when you choose the specific record.
How long do I get the material?
- These items can only be borrowed for short time periods: 2 hours, 1 day, or 3 days. Ask if you are unsure which time period.
- The time is determined by your professor.
- No, however, you can check out the item again if there are no holds on the item.
Can I take it home with me to read?
Most 2-hour material may not leave the building. 1-day and 3 day loans may leave the building.
Overdue Fines for Reserve materials are $0.25 PER HOUR.
