Cashier Services
The staff at the main circulation desks at Firelands and Jerome Libraries can make change if needed.
Closed Circuit TV/Video Streaming
Many of WBGU's videos can be viewed on campus via the Digital Video Streaming Service. Use the TLS Video Search to search their holdings. Follow the on-screen directions to reserve a video. You can also go to your My BGSU account, and choose "My Video Search" from the Quick Links section.
Copiers
BGSU libraries provides self-service copiers for our patrons. The photocopiers on the main campus use the BG1 Card. There
is a machine to add value to your BG1 Card in the Jerome Library and in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union. Visitors may purchase
a guest card.
Ellison machine
The Curriculum Resource Center has seven Ellison machines and one Accu/Cut machine that uses die-cuts to produce numbers, letters and shapes out of construction
paper, fabric, etc.; almost any material that can be cut with scissors. There is a once-per-semester charge for unlimited
use of the machines, payable with a BG 1 card at the CRC desk or by BG 1 card or cash at the Jerome Library Circulation Desk.
Laptops
Mac laptops are available for check out to BGSU students. Present your BGSU ID at the Jerome Library Reserve Room desk to
check one out for 3 hours. Laptops cannot be renewed or placed on hold. Visit the policy page for more information.
Lockers (daily storage)
Lockers are available for temporary storage in Jerome Library while the library is open. Present your ID at the main circulation
desk to check out a lock. All locks must be returned by the time the library closes.
Lokmobile (lockable carts)
Lokmobiles (small, mobile, lockable storage units) are also available to faculty and students. They can be checked out for
an entire semester. Applications are available at the main circulation desk. Note: All library-owned items stored in the lokmobile
must first be checked out.
Microform Reader/Printers
Jerome Library's Reserve Room houses reader/printers for microfiche and microfilm, and digitizing equipment for microfiche,
microfilm, and micro-opaques. Copies are $0.15 per print. Call the Reserve Room at 419-372-8214 for more information.
Tape Players
The Reserve Room in Jerome Library has tape players with headphones for general use. Material from the Sound Recordings Archives
is used in the Music Library's Listening Center.
Typewriters
The Reserve Room in Jerome Library has typewriters for general use.
Video & DVD players
The Reserve Room in Jerome Library has televisions with video and DVD players.
Wireless Access
Jerome, Ogg Science, and Firelands Libraries provide free wireless internet access to any person who has a BGSU email address.

Study Areas, Spaces, and Rooms
Eighth Floor Study Space (Jerome Library): The eighth floor of Jerome Library has study tables and chairs and is be used for quiet study.
Electronic Reading Room (Jerome Library): First Floor, Room 142. The web stations in this room are for Student, Faculty, and Staff use when the room is not reserved
for a Library Instruction session. The basic Microsoft Office applications are loaded on these machines: Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
ITS Computer Classrooms (Jerome Library): First Floor, Room 122 & 125. Across from the first floor elevators, there are two computer classrooms reserved for ITS classes.

Ramona Cormier Faculty Reading Room (8th Floor, Jerome Library): This quiet study room is for faculty use only. The room is equipped with a Web terminal, an ethernet connection for laptops,
and a phone. Keys may be checked out at the main circulation desk at Jerome Library during regular service hours -- the keys
may not leave the library. Please treat the Reading Room as a study area, not a lounge -- the same rules regarding food and
drink, smoking, talking loudly when others are working, etc apply in the Reading Room as in the rest of the library.
Reserve Room (Jerome Library): The service desk for Main Reserve is in this first floor room --it also has photocopiers, typewriters, televisions with
video players and a few study spaces.
Seventh Floor Group Study (Jerome Library): The entire seventh floor of Jerome Library is designated a low conversation group study area. There are a variety of seating
options and a wonderful view of BGSU campus and town from the full length windows. There are also vending machines selling
soda, snacks and hot drinks on this floor. This is the only place where food is allowed in a public area.
