University Libraries Video Contest

University Libraries Video Contest

The Scoop:
As we celebrate National Library Week, we want to know what you love about the University Libraries and how our resources and services have helped you. But don’t just tell us, show us, in five minutes or less, your story or commercial in a creative video and you could win a $200 BGSU Bookstore Gift Card!

We are trying to educate our BGSU students, faculty and staff about the University Libraries and we'd love to use your entertaining video to promote our resources and services. Who can explain the University Libraries better than the people who use it?

Your video can be serious or silly; all we ask is that you keep them clean. Your video should focus on what you love about the University Libraries and how our resources and services have helped you.  We want people to learn more about and use the University Libraries even after they watch your video, so incorporate the University Libraries logo, name or Web site address into your video (it’s in the rules). This will tip viewers off to where they can learn more.

Before you can win a prize you'll have to agree to let us use your name in promotional materials.

Submitted videos will be shown at the UL Student Appreciation BBQ in the William T. Jerome Library on Wednesday, April 20 beginning at 4:00 p.m. and the grand prize winner will be announced at that time. The winner will receive a $200 BGSU Bookstore Gift Card plus publicity, notoriety and our gratitude.
