FINDING ARTICLES ONLINE
This module focuses on finding journal articles online. Bowling Green State University subscribes to hundreds of online databases, from those that cover a wide range of topics, such as Academic Search Premier, to those that are very subject-specific, such as Medline (the National Library of Medicine's online database).
This module's objectives are to:
- Be familiar with databases most relevant to research in technology and education.
- Practice search strategies.
- Learn to make the most effective ways to search online academic databtases
- Interpret and analyze your results.
NOTE:
Many of the search techniques covered in FINDING BOOKS ONLINE can be used in searching online databases. It is strongly recommended that you go through ONLINE SEARCH STRATEGIES first before exploring any of these sections.
