NetLibrary is an Internet-based electronic library that offers an easy-to-use information and retrieval system for accessing the full text of scholarly, reference, and professional books. Currently, the database contains over 15,000 books, including (but not limited to) books in computer science and information technology

BGSU students, faculty and staff may create a personal user account that will allow for access from off campus.

  1. To create your user account, you must be on campus.
  2. From any Internet accessible machine on campus, go to the library's home page: http://www.bgsu.edu/colleges/library/
  3. Click "Research Databases"
  4. Type NETLIBRARY (No space) and click the links to get to it.
  5. Once you are in NETLibrary, click "Create a free account" (in upper right-hand corner). Create an account using a username and password chosen by you.
  6. After you have successfully created a user account, you may access NetLibrary using your username and password from anywhere.
