1) Each volume has a table of contents. Volume 40 has a personal name index for the entire set.

2) Selected documents were translated into English and published in a four volume set: German Diplomatic Documents, 1871-1914. (Northwest Ohio Book Depository; 940.28 G37g v.1, 3-4).
Each volume has an individual title: 1) Bismarck's Relations with England, 1871-1890; 2) From Bismarck's Fall to 1898; 3) The Antagonism, 1898-1910; and 4) The Descent to the Abyss, 1911-1914.

3) The BGSU Libraries own a second copy of volume 3, Bismarck's Relations with England, 1871-1890 (Jerome Library DD 120 .G7 G47 1928).
