In every US State and the District of Columbia, agencies are creating databases of useful information - information on businesses,
licensed professionals, plots of land, even dates of fish stocking. This page provides links to several important guides and
search engines which lead users to state government home pages and resources.
State Agency Database This site is the result of ALA GODORT State and Local Documents Task Force efforts to create a 50-State Registry of state
agency produced databases.
State Blue Books Information for each state includes the following: State, "Blue Book" Title, URL (If available), and Notes (if any).
State Legal Sources on the Web Created by the University of Michigan's Documents Center, this site includes links for all states to a variety of important
sources including:

State Government Information Index This excellent resource was compiled by Kathy Amen, St. Mary's University, San Antonio, Texas. The pages in this listing offer
some basic information about each state (taken from the World Almanac) and links to pages developed by libraries and other
organizations across the country which provide detailed access to state government web sites. Only pages with a substantial
number of links, and/or pages with useful subject groupings or annotations are included.
StateList: The Electronic Source for State Publication Lists This site provides links to state publication checklists and shipping lists from 32 states that are currently available on
the Internet. It is a joint project of the Documents and Law Libraries at the University of Illinois.
