- Public Papers of the President via GPO Access.
- The Public Papers of the Presidents, which is published by the Office of the Federal Register (OFR), began in 1957 and is
an official series in which Presidential writings, addresses, and remarks of a public nature are made available.
- Currently, GPO Access contains the Public Papers for Presidents George H.W. Bush, Clinton, and George W. Bush. Additional
volumes covering the administrations of Presidents Hoover, Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, and
Reagan will be made available from GPO Access in the future.

- Mounted at the Library of Congress, American Memory. The collection consists of over 65,000 letters and manuscripts. According
to the website, this is the largest collection of President Washington's papers in the world.
- Papers of Thomas Jefferson
- The complete Thomas Jefferson Papers from the Manuscript Division at the Library of Congress consists of approximately 27,000
documents. This is the largest collection of original Jefferson documents in the world. Document types in the collection as
a whole include correspondence, commonplace books, financial account books, and manuscript volumes.
- Papers of James Madison
- The James Madison Papers from the Manuscript Division at the Library of Congress consist of approximately 12,000 items captured
in some 72,000 digital images.
- Papers of Abraham Lincoln
- The complete Abraham Lincoln Papers at the Library of Congress consists of approximately 20,000 documents. Most of the 20,000
items are from the 1850s through Lincoln's presidential years, 1860-65. In its online presentation, the Abraham Lincoln Papers
comprises approximately 61,000 images and 10,000 transcriptions.

- The Weekly Compilation of Presidential Documents is published every Monday by the Office of the Federal Register, National

- Clinton Presidential Materials Project (NARA)
- The Clinton Presidential Materials Project's primary mission is the preservation of the Presidential records, personal and
donated papers, and memorabilia of the Clinton Administration.
- The first White House Web Site was developed during the Clinton Administration. After the first version appeared in 1994,
three more versions followed. The White House took "snap shots" of each version at a point in time determined by the White
House staff.
- Clinton Presidential Center
- The Clinton Library, which includes an archival research facility and a museum, is responsible for preserving and processing
in perpetuity the official Presidential records, audiovisual materials, and artifacts of the Clinton Administration

Executive Agency Resources and Publications
- Central Intelligence Agency
- The Central Intelligence Agency was created in 1947 with the signing of the National Security Act by President Truman. The
National Security Act charged the Director of Central Intelligence (DCI) with coordinating the nation's intelligence activities
and correlating,evaluating, and disseminating intelligence which affects national security.
- Council of Economic Advisors
- The CEA was established by the Employment Act of 1946 to provide the President with objective economic analysis and advice
on the development and implementation of a wide range of domestic and international economic policy issues.

- The Council on Environmental Quality coordinates federal environmental efforts and works closely with agencies and other White
House offices in the development of environmental policies and initiatives.

- Under President Bush, the Domestic Policy Council oversees major domestic policy areas such as education, health, welfare,
justice, federalism, transportation, environment, labor, and veterans' affairs.

- The NEC was established in 1993 within the Office of Policy Development and is part of the Executive Office of the President.
It was created for the purpose of advising the President on matters related to U.S. and global economic policy.

- The Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives has the lead responsibility to promote the President's agenda to strengthen

- OMB's predominant mission is to assist the President in overseeing the preparation of the Federal budget and to supervise
its administration in Executive Branch agencies. In helping to formulate the President's spending plans, OMB evaluates the

priorities.

- The Office of National AIDS Policy will focus on coordinating our continuing domestic efforts to reduce the number of new

- The principal purpose of ONDCP is to establish policies, priorities, and objectives for the Nation's drug control program.
