TRAVEL AROUND THE WORLD
WITH A ROOSTER
WHO IS OFF TO SEE THE WORLD
a Webquest for grades 2 and 3
INTRODUCTION
Have you ever thought what it would be like to travel to a different country? Well, now is your opportunity to do so! You, your friend, and the rooster have narrowed down 4 places you all want to visit: China, Africa, Australia, and Canada. Your job is to pick one country to visit and explore to find out about the many different animals that live in the country. After you have researched, you will print out pictures of 3 of your favorite animals that you discovered. You will then make a book about the animals of the country that you explored and report back to the rest of your classmates.

* print out a picture of the map of the selected country
* find information and pictures of 3 different types of animals that live in the country you selected. ***Be sure to write down your information on the activity sheet and to print out a picture of the animal! You will have 1 activity sheet for each animal. Therefore, you will need 3 activity sheets.
