You have now read April Morning and young Adam gave you an idea of what it was like to be involved in the Revolutionary War. It's time for you to get involved now!

Your group members must choose which role they would like to play: a young American girl, a southern slave, a spy, or a newspaper reporter.

Each of these roles will involve Internet research on the Revolutionary War and what your position might have involved during this time. Research well to accurately portray your "character." Your goal is to accurately represent your character while still using your own thoughts and ideas. Your creation should be a combination of fact and fiction.

Your final project will involve the creation of a newspaper. Each group member will play a role in the compilation and production of the materials included in the newspaper.

This assignment will be graded based on the rubric that can be found on the evaluation page. Be sure not to forget the events that occurred during April Morning and their effects on the community. Use the text to help you if you are running out of ideas.
