Now that your literature circle group has completed reading A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens you are going to embark on a journey to ensure that Scrooge does not revert to his miserly ways. In order to ensure this, you will work both indivually and together as a team. Follow these steps and you will help keep Scrooge from ever becoming a misanthrope again.

1. Each member of your group will assume a role as one of the ghosts from A Christmas Carol. The ghostly assigments will go as follows:

Jacob Marley will be played by the youngest group member

Future will be played by the second youngest group member

Present will be played by the second oldest group member

Past will be played by the oldest group member

2. Each group member will then go to the "Task" section of this WebQuest and then click on thier respective ghost. They are then to complete all three tasks individually.

3. Once each ghost has completed all of thier tasks, the group will then go the link entitled "Evaluation" and complete this task as a group.

4. Once the four specters that visited Scrooged complete these tasks, Mr. Scrooge will have a constant reminder of the path that he took to become the new man that he is.
