BOOK REVIEWS
CSCL Picture Book Reviews - Northwest Ohio school-age students and BGSU education majors contribute to the reviews posted here as part of the Children’s Book Center’s (CBC) Cooperative Services for Children’s Literature (CSCL) book review project. Exceptional pictures books are explored, critiqued and reviewed through a series of artist-in-residence
school visits designed to encourage the language arts skills of reading, evaluating and responding to children’s books. Partial
funding for this project has been provided through a grant project: “Bringing Books to Life: Engaging School-age Students
in Book Reviewing”through the Partnerships for Community Action and The Center for Innovative and Transformative Education
Offices at BGSU.
