Special Features: The completion of construction on Interstate Highway 75 made access to the campus easy. With the interchange located on the east side of the campus, athletic facilities like the Football Stadium and Ice Arena (seen at right in this view) could provide large parking areas for visitors without disrupting foot and vehicle traffic in the central campus.
Bowling Green also began to develop businesses and housing on the east side, to take advantage of increased traffic from the highway.
