Special Features: As the 1950s began, new cottage-style men's and women's housing was constructed to accommodate the large numbers of new students. The beginnings of the Fine Arts Building can be seen at left near some of this housing. Clearly visible, however, are the athletic facilities. Farmland is clearly evident south of the campus, and Wooster Street changes to the asphalt of Route 6 at the left of this view. (There is a small amount of damage to the upper right corner of the original photograph)
