In 1968, the Board of Trustees approved plans for construction of another building to be part of the six-phase Science Research
Complex. The University administration designed the Psychology Building as a center for labs used for Psychology research
and a few classrooms. Since that time, the building continued to be a center of research in the field of psychology. Currently,
the building is undergoing a series of renovations to maintain the contemporary nature of the building.
