My Dear beloved Wife
I have taken my pen in hand to ancer my dear kind letter wat I got last nite
the eaight of may and yours was rote the last of the month and I was very glad
to hear my dear beloved wife was so well to walk thear so far but I am a fraid
you will make your self sick a gain but I am glad to tel you that I am well at
present but I ant a fraid to turst you to ride with eny man my dear wife because
I think you ma no anuf to take care of your self now I ant thear with you but
I am not a fraid to trus you at all my dear beloved wife but you think I can
com hom as well as som of the rest of the boys but the things is this if I com
now I shall take a French ferlow and run the risk gitin in trubble then you wold
not like that I no ant that so my dear loving wife and wat have come hom they
have taken french ferlow but I hant got a nuf to bring me hom but I think our
curnel will grant us ferlows and that will be better than taken one but my dear
beloved wife I must tel you that I want to se you as bad as you do me my love
but I think that I have got all you sent to me I got them stamps and all the
monney to but I live in hops that I shall se you again son but I do not no how
long we shal stay hear but I dont think we shall stay long we shall go som other
plase but wear that will be I dont know with out tis at hom but I was glad to
hear from John and adeline and glad to hear they was well and tel them I will
rite to them in a few day for I rite so often I dont know wat to rite and that
is all I can think of this time so thear is no more from your well wiching
