As part of its mission to preserve and make accessible to researchers documentary materials relating to northwest Ohio, the Center for Archival Collections regularly microfilms manuscripts, local government records, and newspapers. Many of our manuscript collections, certain local government records, and those items in the newspaper guide identified by an asterisk as microfilm may be available for purchase. However, not all microfilm held by the CAC is available for purchase from us. Please contact us to confirm what records are available before placing an order.

Note on Local Government Records: Many local government records are found on the same roll with another record series from a different office of the same political subdivision. For instance, Supreme and District Court records are often contained in the same volume and are usually microfilmed consecutively on a single roll. A longer record series may be continued on succeeding rolls. Thus, an individual record series may not take up an entire roll of microfilm, or it may be found on several rolls. The number of rolls of microfilm indicated in the inventory is approximate. Please inquire for specific details before placing your order.

Costs: Beginning January 1, 2007, the cost of vesicular microfilm is $55.00 per roll, or $60.00 per roll for silver microfilm. Sales tax, shipping, and handling charges are additional. For further information on ordering microfilm, or for a listing of available microfilm titles from a specific location, please contact:
