Guess Whom I Ran Into Down Here?
Sat Jan 2, 1942 at gate of Camp Berry Dale Copper Just saw him he didn't see me
Isn't It A Small World?
Waited all afternoon for Captain Lowry to inspect the office we are working in but he didn't stop in, just went by.
Friday I had a job of washing thirty 4'x6' windows and I because the MA thought I did a better job then the rest he makes it nice. Today he let me go to another camp to deliver some blanks so I had a ride. As we entered the gate of Camp Berry I saw Dale Coppus standing by the gate. This is Saturday. If someone knows for sure he is there I would like to know for sure, but Im sure it was him.
Next week will be our last full regular week and supposed to have only two more inspections, I hope. Still don't know when I find out if I make a trade school or not.
A new hostess house is supposed to open Monday so am looking forward to another milkshake. Have been having coca cola at work in the insurance [---] every day.
Am glad Dorothae sent the books, finding time for them. So much for now.
P.S - Found out the Company below is guaranteed for Scarlet Fever and they are served meals practically in bed.

Just a line for now am very very busy. Am still at Great Lakes waiting to be shipped out and [caret mark] don't expect to be for at least a week. Im in a barracks that is assigned KP duty so Ive had 2 days of KP and its worse here than in boots. Didn't get out of KP last night till 9:00 PM; went right to bed.
Dont write till I get my school address because with KP I cant get to the Post office to get mail. We have to get our own mail.
This evening was just about done at KP when our chief picked 2 men to break eggs. When we went to get our coats someone had hooked them [caret mark] our coats. Hope to find them tomorrow
