 Introduction

The Trinity Lutheran Church Records were transferred to the Center for Archival Collections, Bowling Green State University, with the cooperation of Ruth Walters, Riga, Michigan.

This collection consists of ten (10) record books: three (3) Church Record books, one (1) Baptismal record book, two (2) Communion Registers, one (1) Marriage Record Book, one (1) Death Record Book, and two (2) Minute Books. The Church Record books contain the Church Constitution, Family Register, Members, Baptisms, Marriages, and Deaths. The Church record books date from 1861-1890 and 1929-June 1998.

All of the early records are written in German.

This register was prepared in October 1998 by Molly Biddle. No restrictions apply to the use of this collection.
