Introduction
The records of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hamler, Ohio, were transferred for microfilming to the Center for Archival Collections,
Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio, in October 1990, with the cooperation of Hulda C. Hohn. The Immanuel
Lutheran Church collection consists of four Record Books which date from 1896 to 1990 and include such membership information
as family records, baptisms, confirmations, marriages and deaths. A fifth volume is a transcription of volumes one through
three. The transcribed baptisms, confirmations, marriages and deaths also have been alphabetized. Since the early records
are handwritten and in German, this transcribed and alphabetized listing is of great assistance to the researcher. Completing
this collection are anniversary programs which provide historical information on the church and some of its pastors.
No restrictions exist on the use of this collection and duplication is permitted for research purposes. This finding aid was
prepared by Ann Bowers in October 1990.
