Introduction
The records of the Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Sandusky, Ohio, were transferred to the Center for Archival Collections
for microfilming, on May 11, 1987, with the cooperation of Scott McClellan. The collection consists of one minute book, dating
from 1844-1924, and four record books which date from 1854-1954 and include lists of baptisms, marriages, funerals, confirmations
and a few offerings. The second volume of record books includes family listings which date as early as 1787. The records are
written in German until about 1918.
No restrictions exist on the research use of this collection. The collection and finding aid were prepared by Ann Bowers,
Assistant Director, in May 1987.
