 Introduction

The records of the Middlepoint Methodist Charge (Circuit) were transferred for microfilming to the Center for Archival Collections, on February 20, 1987, with the cooperation of Edwin L. Adam. The collection consists of five volumes of the Circuit's record books, dating from 1872 to 1915, and including information on the Circuit's history and membership as well as lists of baptisms and marriages; and, two volumes of the Ridge Church (part of the Circuit) record books, dating from 1905 to 1928. The Ridge Church record books provide information on membership and lists of baptisms and marriages.

No restrictions exist on the research use of the microfilm edition of this collection. The finding aid was prepared by Ann Bowers during February 1987.
