 Introduction

The records of the Zion Lutheran Church, Waterville, Ohio, were transferred to the Center for Archival Collections for microfilming on February 16, 1987, with the cooperation of Carol Tomasic.  The collection consists of four record books, 1877-1986, which include membership lists as well as records of baptisms, confirmations, communicants, marriages, and funerals.  The early records are written in German.  The first record book includes some family listings dating as early as 1820-1868, but these listings are very scattered.

No restrictions exist on the research use of this microfilm edition.  The finding aid was prepared by Ann Bowers in February 1987.
