Introduction
The records St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Norwalk, Ohio were transferred to the Center for Archival Collections on February
21, 1986, for the purposes of microfilming, with the cooperation of Mr. Charles M. Watts. The collection dating from 1821
through 1934, is comprised of Parish Record Books, Parish Registers, Church Building Committee minutes, Financial records,
Ladies Aid/Parish Guild minutes, and Women's Auxiliary Society minutes. The Parish Record Books (1821-1851, 1877-1907) include
minutes of both vestry and parish meetings and the Parish Registers (1825-1829, 1839-1846, 1884-1911) contain records of baptisms,
marriages, burials, communicants and those confirmed. A separate register of marriages dates from 1911-1934.
No restrictions exist on the research use of this collection. The collection and finding aid were prepared by Ann Bowers,
Assistant Director, during March 1986.
