 Introduction

The records of the Zoar Lutheran Church, Perrysburg, Ohio, were transferred for microfilming to the Center for Archival Collections, Bowling Green State University, in October, 1985, with the cooperation of G. V. Hazel. The collection consists of three record books, dating from 1853 through 1974, and including information on the church's members, lists of baptisms, marriages, confirmations, communicants, and burials. The first volume includes a family register which dates from the 1780s through the 1860s. The first two record books largely are written in German.

No restrictions exist on the research use of this collection. The collection was prepared for microfilming and the finding aid completed by Ann Bowers in November 1985.
