Introduction
The records of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Fremont, Ohio were transferred for microfilming to the Center for Archival Collections,
Bowling Green State University, in July 1985, with the assistance of Mildred Gavitt and the Hayes Presidential Center, Fremont,
Ohio. The collection is comprised of three parish record books which date from 1842-1876. The first volume contains the parish
vestry records and treasurer's reports. The second two volumes include information on membership, specifically baptisms, confirmations,
communicants, marriages, and burials. Also included in this collection are two volumes of proceedings of the Women's Auxiliary
and annual meeting programs, dating from 1912 to 1941.
There are no restrictions on the research use of this collection. The finding aid was prepared by Frederick Honneffer in August
1985.
