Introduction

The records of the Harris Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, Ohio were transferred to the Center for Archival Collections, Bowling Green State University, with the cooperation of Gary Harris and Brenda Waters.

This collection consists of three record books, dating from 1924 to 1976. the record books contain obituaries, military discharge and enlistment papers, death certificates, and the information that was used to write the obituaries. The Harris Funeral Home was owned by Russel and Ruth Harris. The records were loaned for filming by their son, Gary Harris.

This register was prepared in May 1998 by Molly Biddle. No restrictions apply to the use of this collection.
