Introduction | Order of Microfilming
The records of the First Universalist Church, Lyons, Fulton County, Ohio were transferred for microfilming to the Center for Archival Collections in October 1997 with the cooperation of Naomi Twining.
The First Universalist Church was founded in Royalton Township, Fulton County, Ohio in 1867. It is now located in Lyons, Ohio.
The first record book contains baptism and death dates as well as the Declaration of Faith, Constitution, a history of the church, and the names of members contributing to the building of the church. the second record book includes minutes of business meetings and notes regarding the Sunday services. The financial records pertain to the renovation of the church in 1904 and list names of members who subscribed to pay off the debts. Finally, photocopies of several miscellaneous items are included.
This register was prepared by Susan Hughes in October 1997. No restrictions apply to the use of this collection.
