 Introduction

The records of the First United Methodist Church, Galion, Ohio were transferred for microfilming to the Center for Archival Collections, Bowling Green State University, in December 1983, with the cooperation of Sam Manning. The collection (1850-1954) contains a brief historical record (1850-1877) and a record of pastors and officials (1850-1923) as well as records of members, probationary members, class lists, baptisms, marriages, and funerals.

There are no restrictions on the research use of this collection. The finding aid was prepared by Susan Hagemeyer in December 1983.
