 Introduction

The records of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, New Rochester, Ohio were transferred to the Center for Archival Collections, Bowling Green State University for microfilming in June 1983 with the cooperation of Ruth E. Graf. The collection (1881-1939) consists of one record book and two minute books. There are no restrictions on the research use of this collection.

The records of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church are recorded almost entirely in German. The record book (1881-1925) consists of: membership rolls (1881-1925), confirmations (1883-1925), communion records (1882-1925), deaths (1882-1925), births (1882-1925), and a chronicle (1881-1925). The English translations of the chronicle (minutes) follows the record book. The two minute books (1881-1903, 1903-1939) also contain membership records.
