Introduction
The Pastor's Register of Rev. George Chenot, Barryville, Stark County, Ohio was transferred to the Center for Archival Collections,
Bowling Green State University for microfilming in February 1983 with the cooperation of Burton Goetz and the Genealogical
Society of Utah. The collection (1897-1934) consists of the records of the various congregations served by Rev. Chenot.
Rev. Chenot, a minister of the Reformed Church, preached 2,685 sermons from 1897-1923 primarily in Stark and Williams Counties,
Ohio. This volume contains lists of elders, deacons, a membership roster, baptisms, marriages, deaths, and private communions.
Also included are newspaper clippings concerning Rev. Chenot and his pastorates.
This finding aid was prepared by Ann Subic in March 1983.
