 Introduction

The records of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Pemberville, Ohio, were transferred to the Center for Archival Collections, Bowling Green State University for microfilming in December 1982 with the cooperation of Rev. Stephen Fisher, Pastor, and the Genealogical Society of Utah. The collection consists of a minute/family register book and two record books. There are no restrictions on the research use of this collection.

The Bethlehem Lutheran Church collection (1800-1945) largely consists of records of membership, births, confirmations, communion, marriages, and deaths. The collection includes: minutes/family register (1800-1907), written in German, which contains vital statistics as well as church minutes and an index on pages 191-201; a record book (1878-1916), written in German; and a record book (1916-1945).

The finding aid was prepared by Ann Jenks in January 1983.
