Introduction
The records of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Pemberville, Ohio, were transferred to the Center for Archival Collections,
Bowling Green State University for microfilming in December 1982 with the cooperation of Rev. Stephen Fisher, Pastor, and
the Genealogical Society of Utah. The collection consists of a minute/family register book and two record books. There are
no restrictions on the research use of this collection.
The Bethlehem Lutheran Church collection (1800-1945) largely consists of records of membership, births, confirmations, communion,
marriages, and deaths. The collection includes: minutes/family register (1800-1907), written in German, which contains vital
statistics as well as church minutes and an index on pages 191-201; a record book (1878-1916), written in German; and a record
book (1916-1945).
The finding aid was prepared by Ann Jenks in January 1983.
