 Introduction

The Columbus Grove United Methodist Church Collection ( MS-178 ) was transferred for microfilming to the Center for Archival Collections with the cooperation of Brenda Watters, Columbus Grove, Ohio, in April 1997.

The Columbus Grove United Methodist Church Collection consists of two (2) record books and one (1) assortment of loose Trustees' records. The inclusive dates are 1907-1973. The Trustees' records contain a brief historical sketch, minutes and a more detailed historical record which includes a list of pastors. The two (2) membership books will be of interest to genealogists for the birth, baptism, marriage and death records found within them.

This register was prepared by Jason Wesco in May 1997. No restrictions apply to the use of this collection.
