Introduction | Order of Microfilming

 Introduction

The Walnut Hills-Avondale United Methodist Church Collection was transferred for microfilming to the Center for Archival Collections with the cooperation of William Hugo in August 1996.

The collection is made up of seventeen Record Books, which generally contain baptism, membership, marriage, death, occupation and residence information. The first four volumes are from Walnut Hills Methodist Episcopal Church before its merger with Avondale Methodist Episcopal Church. The following four volumes are from the Avondale Church. The remaining nine volumes were created after the merger.

Inclusive dates are approximately 1860 through approximately 1970.

This register was prepared by Jason Wesco in August 1996. No restrictions apply to the use of this collection.
