 Introduction

The Brokensword United Methodist Church Collection was transferred for microfilming to the Center for Archival Collections with the cooperation of Carolyn Heydinger in May 1996.

The Brokensword United Methodist Church collection consists of two (2) Record Books and five (5) volumes of Women's Foreign Missionary Society minutes. The Record Books, dated 1922 through 1986, contain baptisms, marriages and membership information. Within the membership information some death dates are found. The minutes of the Women's Foreign Missionary Society, 1906 through 1933, include a news clipping from 1956 covering the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Society.
