The records of the Ginnivan Dramatic Company Players and Neil O'Brien's Minstrels date from 1920-1969.
These records were microfilmed by the Center for Archival Collections in 1980, through the cooperation of Mr. Harold B. Obee. No restrictions exist on the use of this collection.
The records of the Ginnivan Dramatic Company Players and Neil O'Brien's Minstrels document the history of the organization from 1920 to 1969. The consist mainly of photographs, advertisements, newspaper clippings, and personal correspondence.
The photographs are of the players, interior views of the company tent, and of the various placed the company performed, ranging from Cuba in 1920 to Blissfield, Michigan in 1949.
The advertisements and newspaper clippings are of various theatrical companies, minstrel and playing groups.
The personal correspondence pertains to theatrical companies and the actors and musicians concerned with these companies.
