Introduction | Vessel History | Series Description | Order of Microfilming

Introduction

The Vessel Logs for the tug EDNA G., stationed at Two Harbors, Minnesota, were transferred to the Center for Archival Collections, Bowling Green State University in February 1983 for microfilming with the cooperation of A. C. Hanson and the Duluth, Missabe and Iron Range Railway Company of Duluth, Minnesota. The EDNA G. collection (1917-1981), consists of seventeen volumes of Vessel Logs and two additional volumes (1947-1956) of the Vessel Log and Ledger for tug charges. The log books for the period 1936-1940 are missing. The information found within these log books includes the names of boats assisted, the date and the type of assistance provided by the EDNA G.
