The Center for Archival Collections maintains books, maps, pamphlets, and US Census population schedules for every county in Ohio. In cooperation with the Ohio Historical Society, the CAC is also the official repository and archives for local government records for a 19-county area in northwestern Ohio. The manuscript collections document the cultural, political, social, and economic growth of northwest Ohio and include the records of churches, labor unions, businesses, social and welfare agencies, women's organizations, papers of private individuals and public officials, photographs, and pamphlets. In addition, the CAC has collected over 650 newspaper titles covering almost 6,000 microfilm rolls. The counties of our focus area include:
