Field and Staff, 151st OVI
Hospital Steward James H. Biteman
James H. Biteman enlisted as a 23 year old Private in Company D, 151st Ohio
Volunteer Infantry on May 2, 1864, mustering into service May 13, 1864. Detailed
as hospital steward, he was mustered out August 27, 1864 at Camp Chase, Ohio.
He enlisted the following April as assistant surgeon of the 19th Ohio Volunteer
Infantry, mustering into service April 8, 1865. He died of disease September 25,
1865 at San Antonio, Texas and is buried there.

Roster - Company F, 151st OVI
Captain Isaac W. Patrick
Isaac W. Patrick enlisted as a 25 year old Private in Company E, 99th Ohio
Volunteer Infantry on August 6, 1862, mustering into service on August 26, 1862.
Elected Second Lieutenant on August 27, 1862, he resigned his commission
February 2, 1863. With the call up of the 100 days men in May 1864, he enlisted
as Captain of Company F, 151st Ohio Volunteer Infantry on May 2, 1864, mustering
into service May 13, 1864. Patrick mustered out August 27, 1864 at Camp Chase, Ohio.
With the end of the war in sight, he enlisted as Captain of Company B, 192nd Ohio
Volunteer Infantry on March 9, 1865, mustering into service the same day. He
mustered out September 1, 1865 at Winchester, Virginia.
