Assistant Surgeon Josiah L. Brown
Josiah L. Brown enlisted as an assistant Surgeon in the 116th Ohio Volunteer
Infantry on April 14, 1863, mustering into service the same day. He was captured
June 15, 1863 in the Second Battle of Winchester, and was returned December 18,
1863. He resigned his commission October 28, 1864.
