Roster - Company B, 104th OVI
Second Lieutenant William J. Nelson
William J. Nelson enlisted as a 23 year old First Sergeant in Company B, 104th
Ohio Volunteer Infantry on August 1, 1862, mustering into service August 30, 1862.
Promoted to Second Lieutenant to date November 17, 1862, he was detailed as acting
assistant quartermaster for the 23rd Corps from May 1, 1864. He was mustered out
June 17, 1865 at Greensboro, North Carolina.

Corporal Thomas Hart Benton Correll
Thomas H.B. Correll enlisted as a 21 year old Corporal in Company B, 104th
Ohio Volunteer Infantry on August 5, 1862, mustering into service August 30, 1862.
He was discharged for promotion to Captain in the 1st U.S. Colored Troops Heavy
Artillery on March 23, 1864. Correll resigned his commission September 30, 1865.

Corporal Bennywell L. Devies
Bennywell L. Devies enlisted as a 24 year old Corporal in Company E, 104th
Ohio Volunteer Infantry on August 6, 1862, mustering into service August 30, 1862.
He mustered out June 17, 1865 at Goldsboro, North Carolina.
