Private Daniel L. Swank
Daniel L. Swank enlisted as a 21 year old Private in Company D, 102nd Ohio
Volunteer Infantry on August 11, 1862, and mustered into service September 6, 1862.
During Swank's term of service, the 102nd Ohio was largely engaged in garrison and
railroad guard duties in Tennessee. Swank was promoted to Corporal on August 1,
1863, but was reduced to the ranks on May 17, 1864. He died of disease January 7,
1865 at New Albany general hospital and is buried at the national cemetery there.

Roster - Company H, 102nd OVI
Private John Duffey
John Duffey enlisted as a 41 year old Private in Company H, 102nd Ohio Volunteer
Infantry on August 6, 1862, mustering into service September 6, 1862. He was mustered
out May 14, 1865 at Huntsville, Alabama.
