Enlisted 4/22/1861 as a Private in Company A, 14th Ohio Infantry, promoted
to Sergeant Major 7/1/1861, mustered out 8/13/1861 at Toledo, OH. Enlisted
10/8/1861 as Captain of Company A, 67th Ohio Infantry, promoted to Major
7/29/1862, promoted to Lieutenant Colonel 8/28/1862, wounded 7/18/1863 at
the assault on Fort Wagner, discharged for promotion 2/22/1865. Re-enlisted
2/22/1865 as Colonel of 184th Ohio Infantry, promoted to Brigadier General
2/27/1865, mustered out 9/20/1865 at Nashville, TN. Born in Lancaster, PA,
died 8/14/1867 in Galveston, TX.

Colonel Alvin Coe Voris
Alvin Coe Voris enlisted as 2nd Lieutenant of Company H, 29th Ohio Infantry on
October 2, 1861. He was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel of the 67th Ohio Infantry
on October 3, 1861. He was wounded July 18, 1863 the the assault of Fort Wagner.
He was promoted to Brevet Brigadier General on December 8, 1864, then to Colonel
on September 1, 1865, and then to Brevet Major General on November 15, 1865. He
mustered out with his regiment on December 7, 1865 at City Point, Virginia

Quartermaster Cary D. Lindsay
Cary Lindsay enlisted as a 19 year old Private in Co. C, 21st Ohio Volunteer
Infantry on April 25, 1861, serving with the regiment through the summer campaign
in western Virginia before mustering out August 12, 1861 at Columbus, Ohio. He
later enlisted as a Private in Co. H, 67th Ohio Volunteer Infantry on January 4,
1862 and was promoted to Quartermaster Sergeant September 25, 1862. He was
commissioned First Lieutenant and designated regimental quartermaster to date
February 18, 1864, and served in that capacity for the remainder of the war. He
was mustered out December 7, 1865 at City Point, Virginia.

Captain George L. Childs
George L. Childs enlisted October 15, 1861 as 2nd Lieutenant of Company C, and was promoted to Adjutant November 15, 1862. He was wounded July 18, 1863 at the assault on Fort Wagner, South Carolina, and was promoted to Captain of Company C to date May 25, 1864. He was appointed acting assistant adjutant general on the staff of Colonel Alvin C. Voris on September 17, 1864, serving through November 28, 1865. John H. Smith enlisted as a 20 year old Private in Company I, 67th Ohio Volunteer
Infantry on November 8, 1861, mustering into service the same day. He reenlisted
as a veteran in 1864 and was promoted to Corporal on July 1, 1864 and to Sergeant
on April 4, 1865. He was transferred to Company H on September 1, 1865 and was
mustered out with the company December 7, 1865.

Roster - Company K, 67th OVI
First Lieutenant John C. Cochrane
John C. Cochrane enlisted as a 31 year old Sergeant in Co. K, 67th Ohio, and
was appointed Commissary Sergeant December 18, 1861. Following the battle of
Kernstown, he was commission Second Lieutenant of Company K to date April 15,
1862. He was promoted to First Lieutenant on October 5, 1862 and served with his
regiment through the assault on Fort Wagner in Charleston, South Carolina. The
following year, he was severely wounded in the left leg on May 20, 1864 at the
Battle of Ware Bottom Church, and died of his wounds following amputation of the
leg May 29, 1864.

Sergeant Joseph Parsons Owen
John Parsons Owen enlisted as a 22 year old Corporal in Company K, 67th Ohio
Volunteer Infantry on November 2, 1861, mustering into service the same day. He
was promoted to Sergeant August 2, 1862 and was wounded in the hand July 18, 1863
during the storming of Fort Wagner in Charleston, South Carolina. He reenlisted
in 1864 and was discharged for promotion to Lieutenant in Company B, 176th Ohio
Volunteer Infantry on September 8, 1864.
During his service with the 176th Ohio, he was promoted to First Lieutenant of
Company E to date January 18, 1865 and mustered out June 14, 1865 at Nashville,
Tennessee.
