Hiram Stotts enlisted as a 54 year old Captain in Company F, 4th Ohio Volunteer
Cavalry on August 24, 1861, mustering into service November 12, 1861. He mustered
out September 17, 1862.

First Lieutenant Thomas M. McClure
Thomas M. McClure enlisted as a 37 year old Private in Company F, 4th Ohio
Volunteer Cavalry on September 6, 1861, mustering into service November 12, 1861.
Reenlisting as a veteran in 1864, he was promoted to First Sergeant January 4,
1864 and was commissioned First Lieutenant of Company M to date December 9, 1864.
His further record is unclear.
