Research Guides by Format - Finding Aids
A Finding Aid is sometimes called a manuscript register. It is a guide to a collection of unpublished papers (for example, family letters and diaries or business correspondence and financial records), used to provide background information about the materials, explain how they are organized, and identify items of interest to the researcher.
We also have other resources, while not traditionally considered finding aids, are online resources for various subjects. They are listed below as well.
University Libraries has finding aids in various places.
