Microcards, microfiche, and microfilm are known collectively as microforms. Library materials in these formats can be found
throughout the BGSU Libraries. These formats, together with their locations, are clearly labeled in the BGSU Libraries Catalog. A large concentration of microforms are kept in cabinets near the Reference Collection on the first floor of the Jerome
Library. Reader/Printers are located in the Reserve Room, across from the Circulation desk on the main floor of Jerome.
For assistance with microforms, ask at the Research & Information Desk.
Research Collections in Microform is an online guide to the major research collections available in microformats in the BGSU Libraries. Browse the lists of
collections by subject, time period, language, or alphabetically. Each collection's record has a title, location, content description, arrangement, subject category, index/bibliography,
and much more.
Microforms are also available in the Science Library, Government Documents, The Browne Popular Culture Library, Center for Archival Collections, and the Historical Collections of the Great Lakes.
