BGSU dissertations and theses published in Fall 2005 or after can be accessed via the BGSU Theses and Dissertations page in the OhioLINK Electronic Theses and Dissertations Center (ETD). (Exception: MFA program in Creative Writing are still in print.)
The ETD Center is a free, online database of Ohio’s masters theses and doctoral dissertations from participating OhioLINK member schools. Authors, university affiliation, and abstracts are all indexed and searchable. Dates of coverage vary from institution to
institution.
Dissertation Abstracts (Proquest):
Dissertation Abstracts contains more than 2 million entries for doctoral dissertations and master's theses. BGSU dissertations are available through this database in PDF format (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader) from 1997 to the present at no charge.
Networked Digital Library of Theses & Dissertations
The Networked Digital Library of Theses & Dissertations is a searchable digital library of selected thesis and dissertations from institutions throughout the world.
Paper Copy:
BGSU Libraries Catalog:
The Jerome Library owns print and microfilm copies of all of the dissertations produced at BGSU prior to Fall 2005 and a small number of selected titles from other institutions. You can locate them in the BGSU Libraries Catalog using standard
author, title, and keyword searching.
OhioLINK Catalog:
If a dissertation is located that is available at another institution, use the patron request feature to request the item.
It will be delivered in 2-4 business days at no charge.
Interlibrary Loan:
If no OhioLINK institution owns the dissertation, you may request that our Interlibrary Loan Office try to borrow a copy from
another institution. To make this request, use ILLiad. The Interlibrary Loan office will try to locate a copy to borrow (minimum 2 weeks).

Dissertation Abstracts (Proquest):
Dissertations from 1997 forward are available electronically in a variety of formats through Dissertation Abstracts. The most
economical format is a PDF for $32.00. You will need to use the shopping cart feature of the database and your credit card
