You can search this online database for journals based on subject, title, keyword, etc. The listing will tell you if the journal is still active, whether the submissions are refereed, and where/how to contact the journal. This database is not available off-campus. You might also want to check the list of Film Journals in the BGSU Libraries.

The following websites also offer lists of film and media journals. They are not exhaustive, but they do include journals from around the world: Screen Site: Research: Journals (http://screensite.org/link-12.html) and Artslynx (http://www.artslynx.org/film/journals.htm)

The authors of this website are members of or affiliated with the BGSU Department of American Culture Studies and the BGSU Department of Theatre and Film. They are:  Molly Brost, Nathan C. Crook, Stefan Hall, Zach Hilpert, Michael Jordan, Michael Lupro, Dr. Cynthia Baron, and Stefanie Hunker.
